Rachey Roo Turns 4!

Our little Strawberry Shortcake cum Mermaid turned 4 on June 3. We had a party at Kidz Bounce and invited 24 of her closest friends! She has more friends than mommy & daddy. Rachel loved seeing her girl friends from school (particularly Casey), Ian loved running around wildly with Matt & the Schaub Boys up the street and Lauren loved being fawned over by the 'big girls'. The birthday girl chose "The Little Mermaid" theme and so we had an appropriate cake and found a cute skorts outfit from trusty Costco with Ariel on it. She also chose what we ate for dinner - hello, Jack-in-the-Box! I knew we should have named Rachel "Ariel"....

Fun in the Sun

Well, we had a few days of summer here in Issaquah this month. We made the most of them by playing outside in the cul-de-sac on our bikes, blowing bubbles and getting wet on the slip-n-slide. Lauren had her first popcicles & loved them!

Ready for Take-off

On Saturday, we visited the Museum of Flight. Ian, in particular, is quite fascinated by airplanes. He had many questions about the bombs. Both Ian & Rachel loved "flying" the Blue Angel plane. Even Lauren got into the action by sitting in an F-16 jet!
